This blog seems to have limited options. I cannot see how to edit our posts when we make errors. Does anyone think we should try another blog site to build a better thing?
Celebration 68
Ideas, contrubutions feedback welcome... just testing out this blog apparatus to see what can be done here. I hope to borrow a load of pics from the web.
It is 40 years since the earth shaking year of 68, our last chance of a popular revolution before we succumbed to a world of resource squandering mediocrity... perhaps we live in a 'Medicocracy'...
Resources such as food housing and fuel are our lifeblood, and the demand seems to be gradually drving prices upwards. This could wreck our current society and lead to another kind of revolution where we have to make radical changes to our way of life and face the hard facts. Diminishing resources may lead to global wars, we don't really know.
But if nothing else I want to create a blog where we can kindle awareness of what that year meant, what was achieved, what we can do now.
If nothing else I would look at ways to celebrate the revolutionary year of 68 in art, poetry, literature and music from the past and present.
